With growing demand for energy, the development of LNG will play an important role in optimizing China’s energy structure, effectively solving the energy supply security, the ecological environment protection and the sustainable development of economy and society. Predictably, LNG will become the main force of China’s natural gas market over the next 10 to 20 years.
Our purification process has a reasonable design and good purification effect. Up to now, no case cannot run due to imperfect purification treatment. Also, a large number of experiments were conducted to determine the best ratio of refrigerant, avoiding the error of dependent on simulation software, which can achieve the optimal effect of liquefaction at the lowest energy consumption.
In order to save power consumption of compressor, the interstage cooling and extraction of high boiling pointrefrigerantduring liquefaction process was used. Gas and liquid were separated at the last compressor stage, after which liquid directly flowed into the cold box for refrigeration by throttling while gas was cooled to a certain temperature before throttling for refrigeration. Thus in this process, the gas and liquid could reenter the plate heat exchanger uniformly and a consumption of additional work caused by simple PRICO circulation( with heavy hydrocarbonundercooled and hard to be gasified by decompression) was avoided.
Typical case
The “Taian Shenran 150000Nm3/d LNG project”with our technology and service, located in Daolang town, Taian city, Shandong province, is the first completely domestic LNG device with independent intellectual property rights. It was put into operation in 2007, demonstrating a significant breakthrough of LNG technology in China.
