After membrane hydrogen extraction device, the methanol purge gas contained some hydrogen and large amounts of methane. Therefore, we separated and reserved the methane as LNG for sales from methanol purge gas by cryogenic distillation separation technology. Meanwhile, the rest gas was put into PSA device with CO and H2further extracted.

The“Hebi city Baoma fertilizer plant comprehensive utilization of methanol purge gas”has a design scale of 10000 Nm3/h. Its main process includes compression, decarburization, demethanol, dehydration, liquefaction, separation, storage and transportation, etc. By nitrogen expansion refrigeration and cryogenic distillation separation process, the project has the advantage of simple operation and high methane recovery rate.
